Moving to Florida; get rid of hats,scarfs & gloves???
I would at least keep one pair of good gloves, a hat and a scarf for every member of your family. Any extras I would donate to your local Salvation Army or Thrift Shop.

I think there're some LB gloves that cutters make. They have good padding and they have grip on them.
What to do about sweaty gloves during cold weather rides?
Buy a second pair, take them with you and put them on for the journey back.
