You do your design then get a block made at an engravers. You can use gold ink or whatever colour you want. I would suggest linoprint ink.

Where can i find A5 rind binders that are wide enough that the plastic wallets don't poke out the sides? ta
There is a slightly wider size you can get, it's more of a square shape than rectangle. Try your local office supplies - I can't think of the name right now but you'll know it if you see it :-)
